• Martec was formed near Clay Cross, Derbyshire, in 1997 to provide manufacturers of food and drink, toiletry, cosmetic, pharmaceuticals, chemicals who have problems with removing residual product from their pipelines using conventional pigging systems after production runs or transfers.

• Martec provides “state-of-the-art” pipeline Product Recovery Systems (pipeline pigging systems) that use a special ‘pig’ called the Marplug to push out this residual product so that it can be utilised rather than wasted.

• Pipeline pigging means more profit for the manufacturer, cleaner pipework, less waste and an increase in available production time.

Our pipeline pigging systems are unique in that Martec have three types of pipeline product recovery systems. These include the spherical and solid pigs, and the Marplug (which has multiple windscreen wiper action).
