- Martec was formed near Clay Cross, Derbyshire, in 1997 to provide recovery
solutions for manufacturers of food & drink,
toiletry, cosmetic, pharmaceuticals and chemicals who have problems
with removing residual product from their pipelines using conventional
pigging systems after production runs or transfers.
- Martec provides “state-of-the-art” pipeline
Product Recovery Systems (pipeline pigging systems) that use a special ‘pig’ called
the Marplug to push out this residual product so that it
can be utilised rather than wasted.
- This means more profit for the manufacturer, cleaner pipework,
less waste and an increase in available production time.
- We aim to provide the very best in pipeline product recovery systems
and service to help maximise profits through the efficient recovery of
pipeline residues and minimisation of waste.
- Examples of our pipeline product recovery systems have seen us gain
clients from the food and drink, paint, petrochemical and healthcare industries.
- Our pipeline pigging systems are unique in that Martec have three types of
pipeline product recovery systems. These include the spherical and solid pigs
and the 'Marplug'.
