New legislation (e.g. Allergens), changes to recipes, new products, new equipment can all invalidate the assumptions of the cleaning load that the original CIP system was designed for.
Many CIP installations have never been optimised since they were originally commissioned. How can you be sure the correct balance of safety versus cleaning time, chemical dosing etc. Is it still the safest, is cleaning efficient?
Maybe the need is replacing spray balls, hygienic valves, scavenge pumps, re-programming control panels or altering cleaning circuits.
Martec have the relationships to manage full turn-key upgrades to existing installations.
